Belly Fat: To Detox or Not to Detox?

Skinny tea! 3 day detox! The flat belly detox! 21 day weight loss detox! Whoa. Hold the phone. You can drink tea for 14 days and lose all your belly fat? ❌❌❌ WRONG! If these products don’t work, why can people sell them? Maybe you are thinking, “hey, I have seen people lose weight using X detox!” What the heck is she talking about?

The Good

First things first: the absolute best detox you can do for your body is to focus on eating at least 85% whole, natural foods. PERIOD. That is all your body needs to “detox”. Sometimes I like to use a Yogi detox tea. THIS IS NOT A SKINNY TEA. This is made of natural herbs that AID in digestion so you feel less bloated. If your goal is to burn belly fat, or to get a flat belly, then save your $$$ and stay away from skinny teas, detox diets, and cleanses.

Losing belly fat is actually SIMPLE. Easy? No. Fun? Sometimes. Hard? Not really. Losing belly fat takes consistency. Consistent nutrition. Consistent movement. That is it. I promise.

The Bad

The reason that a lot of people want to detox their body is because they only have to “suffer” for a couple days and do no work and their belly fat will magically disappear! ✋

WRONG AGAIN. What these detoxes do is rid your body of fluid, clean out your digestive system, and help you feel less bloated. I have got some news for you. There is a way to do that WITHOUT spending a big money. Or any money at all.

The Ugly

If you have some sea salt, some hot water, and determination you can flush your digestive system at home in about an hour. For literally next to no money. 9/10 times if you feel bloated, your weight goes up day to day, and your clothes fit a little tight once and a while you just need to tighten up your nutrition a little bit.

Wrapping Up Belly Fat

I am watching you. Have you tried those wraps to shrink your belly fat? Have you tried the boiled egg diet? Did you try skinny tea? Girrlll. Save yo money. Spend some time researching. You don’t have to take my word for it. The verdict on to detox or not to detox? Definitely no girl. Focus on tightening up your nutrition. Get in some healthy exercise. Get your water in. Slowly but surely you will see that belly fat fade away. Your progress might be slower than someone using the boiled egg diet. But guess what? The weight you lose will STAY OFF versus gaining the weight back and then some. I promise 😘
