Springtime is upon us at last! This means that its time for a new round of healthy smoothie recipes. In the winter and fall, flavors like pumpkin and peppermint rule. Springtime calls for fruitier and more refreshing flavors. These healthy smoothie recipes will give you a good dose of nutrition, protein, and flavor!
Very Berry Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition delicious strawberry protein powder
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Enjoy!
This is one of my favorite post-workout smoothies. It is refreshing and light, which is perfect for me as I am not starving after an intense workout!
Pineapple Upside Down Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition vanilla ice cream protein powder
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- .5 cup pineapple chunks-fresh or frozen
- 2 pitted cherries
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp imitation butter flavoring
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a cup.
- Top with light whipped cream for an extra treat.

This is one of my favorite healthy smoothie recipes. The sweet and tart combination just cannot be beat. I use this as a pre-bedtime snack because of the satisfying flavors! Plus, pineapple is great for muscle recovery!
Espresso Ecstasy
Ingredients
- 2 ounces espresso
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition coffee protein powder
