The Ultimate HIIT Workout Program

Common misconception: you must workout 5-6 days per week for at least an hour to see results. Reality: you don’t. I get ya. You want the long and lean look that will fill out jeans or a bikini just fine. However, you also want to FEEL good. You want to be able keep up with your friends (dare I say kick their butt) playing pick up basketball or going for a hike. This HIIT workout program will get you there! 45 minutes, 3x per week is all you need to sculpt those muscles and get fit!

HIIT Workout: The Basics

HIIT stand for high intensity interval training, otherwise known as torture. However, this type of torture is awesome because its going to get you better results in less time, I promise! Now, you can squeeze in your workout on your lunch break. Go ahead, get it done. You know you wanna have those abs and that booty 😍

So basically HIIT means that you work for an interval, rest for an interval, and repeat! This protocol is typically used for cardio, however, it can be used for weight training as well, which is exactly what we are going to do!

Weekly Breakdown

Monday: Full Body HIIT workout

Tuesday: Rest

Wednesday: Full Body HIIT workout

Thursday: Rest

Friday: Full Body HIIT workout

Saturday: Yoga Stretch

Sunday: Rest

Cooldown and Yoga

Make sure to cool down and stretch for 5-10 minutes after your workout!

Quick Tips

Despite the fact that you are going for time, don’t rush the movements. Make sure that you are performing each rep slow and controlled.

Don’t lift with your ego. The weight will get heavy fast lifting this way. Choose a challenging weight but one that you can use with good form.
